Zoya utilizes a trauma-informed care approach, incorporates the harm reduction model, and is well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), mindfulness techniques, and attachment-based interventions. Her specialized knowledge in brain injury and brain trauma allows her to provide targeted support for clients dealing with these complex issues. Zoya’s comprehensive approach combines evidence-based practices with a deep understanding of neurological challenges, enabling her to address both the physical and psychological aspects of brain injuries. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Psychology from the University of Alberta, followed by a Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle. Zoya is a Registered Provisional Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologists Association of Alberta.
