What can I expect during my first session?
During your first session at Journey Psychology, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment. Your therapist will begin by gathering information about your concerns, including any symptoms you may be experiencing and your personal goals for therapy. This initial discussion helps your therapist gain a better understanding of your unique needs and allows them to tailor a treatment plan specifically for you. Your therapist will also explain the therapy process and answer any questions you may have, ensuring that you feel comfortable and informed throughout your therapy journey.
How experienced are the therapists in your practice?

Each therapist is a licensed professional with years of experience, ensuring that you receive the highest quality care. Please contact our office as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
How long does therapy typically last for different issues or concerns?
The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and the complexity of the concerns being addressed. Your therapist will work closely with you to create a personalized treatment plan that outlines the expected duration of therapy. Some individuals may benefit from short-term therapy, which can last a few sessions to address specific issues or provide immediate support. Others may require longer-term therapy to address more complex issues or achieve deeper, lasting change. Your therapist will regularly assess your progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed to ensure you are receiving the most effective care.
Do you offer sliding scale fees or financial assistance?
