Creating Meaningful Change

In her therapeutic practice, Simran utilizes a range of evidence-based techniques to support her clients. She incorporates play-based interventions to help children express emotions and develop healthy coping skills in a nurturing environment. Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) forms a cornerstone of her approach, enabling clients to challenge and reframe negative thought patterns, while solution-focused therapy (SFT) guides clients toward practical steps for positive change. Simran also integrates principles and concepts from dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) to enhance emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. She is also well-versed in attachment-based interventions and emotion-focused therapy (EFT), both of which are instrumental in fostering secure relationships and understanding the emotional experiences of clients. Mindfulness practices further enhance her clients’ ability to remain present and self-aware. Additionally, she provides comprehensive parent support, empowering caregivers to develop responsive parenting styles that nurture their child’s unique needs. By blending these therapeutic approaches, Simran creates a compassionate and collaborative environment that empowers her clients to build resilience and embrace growth.
